Wanted to point out a few new fun goodies included with the latest message board.
If you see a little flower icon by someone ( I think brian and I are the only ones right now) that indicates that we have put our ICQ info in our user profile. ICQ is an instant messaging client. Click on that ICQ icon and you can send me or anyone else an instant message using what's called the ICQ pager. Prety cool.

If you don't have a login to the site, it's time to get yourself one. Myself, I don't care whether you log in or not but if you follow this link

pick a username and password, then you can log into the site and tell the site to remember your password (the little check box below the login and password). That way you can take advantage of what I think is the best feature of these boards. The "mark" feature. When you read the messages in a particular board like the saltwater board, just click mark before you leave. Then the next time you go to the main message board page, the folder will turn yellow indicating that there are new messages in that board. Why go hunting for new ones when the board can figure it out for you?

I hope this is of some help to everyone, my goal is just to make the site as user friendly as possible. If you ever have questions about using the site just click on help or email me anytime.
I'm going to try to post more informational posts about the message boards in the next couple days. There's some cool new stuff here so check it out!

You are doing a awesome job with the site,I have ICQ allready on my system at work,I will set it up to the board as well so at least brian youself and I can communicate faster.

If you haven't figured it out alredy, to modify your user profile, go to the main calfishing.com message boards (click conference from the Bass-n-Tubes board). Then from there click user. After that click the last of the three options, something like modify profile. That's where you can put in your icq UIN number etc.
