3/4 day Charter 7.29.17

Howdy, this is Merit on the Stardust. Today we had a 7 a.m. Charter and we started our day fishing the deeps for lingcod and big coppers. Our 28 Anglers managed to drum up 41 nice lingcod, and then we spent the rest of the day picking along and putting together limits of Rockfish. We had some nice fishing in the super shallows too. Weather was nice in the morning becoming a little Breezy in the afternoon but overall a very nice day. In total we had 280 Rockfish 41 lingcod seven ocean Whitefish and a sheephead.
Stardust is 1/2 Day fishing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Lots of room on all days. This is a great week to get out on lighter loads while fiesta is going so you can bring back awesome fresh fish for tacos! Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip

Good afternoon folks we are still in the channel here headed toward home as the crew is busy processing our days catch and our 21 anglers are relaxing and enjoying the smooth ride.

With nice weather we headed for Santa Rosa Island and started in a different area where we found a little action on lingcod and a few rockfish to start our day however it quickly fell apart. After some looking we found one small area that was holding some really nice quality whitefish along with a few more lingcod and coppers. As it got later we kept working and although the rockfish fishing was very scratchy we were able to stay busy on the bigger whitefish and managed to round out what lingcod we needed as well.

Our 21 anglers ended the day with 97 Assorted rockfish, 184 whitefish and 42 Lingcod.

Both boats are nearly full for tomorrow however there is plenty of room available to go 3/4 Day fishing on the Coral Sea Monday or 1/2 Day fishing on the Stardust as well. Please call Sea landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to secure your spot online.
