Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip

Good afternoon folks we are currently in route for home after a nice relaxing day half-day fishing in beautiful weather.

With a full boat of 30 Angler's we headed out to try some shallow area first thing and after a few stops we found the Mackerel to be too aggressive not letting us fish effectively. From there we worked in deeper and down the coast throughout the day picking and scratching a few fish off at each stop. Lack of current most of the day made for a very stagnant conditions however our group did an excellent job and fished hard until it was time to go home.

Our 27 anglers that fished all day ended up with 127 Rockfish, 20 whitefish, 2 sheep head, 2 sandbass and 2 lingcod.

The coral sea is full for tomorrow and the Stardust is chartered however the coral sea will be half-day fishing Sunday and the Stardust will be 3/4 day fishing that day as well with plenty of room available. We have SUPER LIGHT LOADS Monday-Wednesday 3/4 day fishing. Please call the Call Sea Landing at 805-963-3564 or visit our website to book your reservation online for any of our upcoming open party trips.

Hello, here's the stardust island report for today. We started out at Santa Cruz island in the deeper water today and found the current to be strong. We had a good amount of tangles to weed through. Our first zone produced a couple lingcod and some decent coppers and reds.

Unfortunately the current never backed off today and the swell picked up considerably in the afternoon. We tried to run in shallow for a shot at different territory but found only a few fish willing to bite. We did manage a few stops where we put on some good rockfish and a few lingcod. Overall our passengers had a blast plus they all went home with some fish.

Our final tally for our 38 anglers was 138 rockfish and 17 lingcod. The stardust is privately chartered tomorrow but will be running a 3/4 day trip on Sunday and still has a lot of room so book reservations now through our website or call the Sealanding at 805-963-3564.
