Go to www.johnscrankbait.com/ and click the gallery at the top of the page. This guy lives in Washington and is selling hot swimbaits for about 30 bucks. He will make what you want and has great paint jobs. He tank tunes his lures and uses paint brush bristles for fins. He puts all the fins on not just some of them. I was amazed at the detail. He is sending me a 9" trout that barely floats and will make whatever size and sink you want. The people of this site have been good to me so I am letting the cat out of the bag. I am having him make me half a dozen lures from 4 1/2" to 10". Offduty
Thank you for posting the info on John's baits. I received my first two this week and I couldn't be happier. The pictures don't really do them justice...my wife thought I was nuts to take them out on the lake because in her words, "That's art". I liked the action of both of the baits when I pitched them in my pool, the fish liked them even more yesterday and today. Got off the water this afternoon and ordered four more.

The purpose of this board is to share information...thank you again for letting us know about this swim bait builder...his baits are unbelievable and belive me, I have a bunch to compare them to:)

When it comes to hard bodied swimbaits John is the man. Mickey Ellis has just shipped me a Real Deal and a 1-up and I am really looking forward to getting those too, he is another highly talented and innovative bait maker.

Yeah I know a good thing when I see it. I placed and order for 21 lures and am still waiting on 11. I got my Real Deal and 1-up today too, awesome baits from Mickey.
