A.R.,

The best all around bait for bass at Lake Casitas is the plastic worm. Depending on the time of year, colors can range from shad colors to crawdad colors. I have always done good on the Robo worm Oxblood in 4 1/2" and the Hologram shad pattern in the 4 1/2". But, as we all know, bass can change their moods on any given day and want a different color then the ones I told you about. Also if you are planning a trip up thier soon you might want to take some slug-go's in shad pattern because the spawn is almost over and then the shad will be getting hammered by some hungry fish tired from the spawning process.
