...can you make the SJ ponds tonight. Thinking of getting there around 9:30. Need a little break from the paper writing. Besides I just want to fish. Call me if you can, 714-658-8895.

How did it go, Ed? I fished another lake last night, required a little, umm, how would you say? Sneaking? Yeah, that's it- well, it was worth it, lots of fish, about 15 bass, all 2 pounds and under but 8 on a floating Rapala in a late 20 minute spree, a complete blast! Also nailed a 10 pound cat on a senko, pretty fun on 6 pound test! E-mail me or I'll give you a call next time I can charge. Also got some nice checkers off north Laguna Sunday night under the full moon, pretty fun- water was up to 63 in spots-

What were you doing in North Laguna, Twilight out of Dana?

My trip yielded 2 in the 2# range. Both on the Puppy. Not so hot. Fished them today for maybe an hour. Second time I fished there in the light. Didn't see a single fish over 4" in the small pond. Some kid caught that 2# that hangs in the bigger lake around the first wall on the left (on the street). I never got a bite. Even tried those lili pads in the big pond. I think I need a new place to fish.

I tried Santa Margarita (not that one guys) that same night. Saw a few jumping, but that was it. I guess rattle traps are the ticket there, so I picked a couple up for next time. Then last night I tried one of the lakes in Woodbridge, Irvine. Missed a dink throwing the Puppy, that was it for an hour.

Still can't get your email, so email me, I might be interested in some stealth fishing. Plus, I'll have a bit more free time after sat.

We were fishing out of my buddies boat Sunday- another friend of mine whacked the calicos at Strands last night fishing off his board, got a 4 plus a few other nice ones. My e-mail is bassnet@concentric.net
I fished carp, of all things, at Santa Margarita (once again, not THAT one!) and had a really fun evening catching the big goldfish up to 15 pounds on a little spinner with 4 lb.- That was in the fall- I guess there are decent bass in there, but there about 5 little water holes within 5 minutes of RSM that are loaded- Coto has several, Dove, etc.- I'm off to Cabo Tuesday, but maybe this weekend we can hook up and fish a local pond.
