Moved out to chicago from Cali and found out everything big that swims love the hudd. Caught this tiger musky on my fourth cast with a hitch rof-5. I was able to see the fish blast my bait 10 feet from shore. Not bad for my lunch break.

This is giving me ideas... What if they stocked some of those bad boys in the spotted bass lakes. You know, take a lake like Naci or Oroville and grow out some mondo sized swimbait demolishing tiger musky. Heh. I'm sure there's some reason it's a bad idea but it seems like fun to me.
Could you picture the weigh in after a tournament on Oroville say? I could see a pack of musky sitting at the ramp waiting for chow time when the bass get released :o Here fishy fishy.

I have mad respect for Musky fishermen after going back east with family to try and get my own. Got nothing but pike (which are fun as can be too!).
It would be awesome if they stocked muskies here, but it would be better if they stocked peacock bass down south here in San Diego baby! :D -----------

I used to fish lake mission viejo and got spoiled by the huge bass. I promise you that sight fishing 30 lb musky with swimbaits in Cali would catch on quick. Just thought you guys might get a kick out of what a hudd can do.
