i have caught most of my stripers on the trout baits, at the time the 9" osprey was the bait to have, i caught alot of stripers to 10lbs with this bait, and also lost a monster that me and my partner estimated at 20+ at castaic lake, she came off 2 ft from the net. but also i like throwing the super spooks in the early mornings, especially overcast or drizzly mornings. most of my stripers come in crappy weather.
