Here are a few baits with your basic Texas Rig setup. This my way of rigging and keep in mind, is not the only right way to do it. Everyone has there own techniqe and it's up to you to develope your own special or favorite way. To keep it simple, I used the same weight and hood for every picture. Weight should be determined by what depth your fishing and size of bait. I generally use the lightest weight possible for my conditions. Hook size is detemined by the size of the bait and some degree of personal preference. Try to keep the bait as straight as possible for best presentation. These are some very basic guidlines that I use and will vary from angler to angler. Anyway, here are the pics... Enjoy.
