Is the bait going to be available in any other colors? The color shown is that of an adult Tiger Salamander which is mildly poisonous to bass. They do eat eggs so a nest guarder will gently pick-em up and move them away from a nest, but if the bass in question has ever crushed one they probably won't soon do it again. The juvenile Tiger Salamander by contrast still eats eggs, is neutral olive/grey/brown w/ muted gold undersides, has no spots and is usually swallowed by all major gamefish in US waters.
