Check out this product(Starbrite Star Tron), it can help improve the fuel you are putting into your fuel tanks (not just for your boats engine either).You can use this product in all kinds of engines,and they also make a Diesel fuel additive and fuel tank cleaner.

I know of at least 3 people who have had engine trouble relating to the fuel (fuel pumps shot) and these weren't very old engines either,
and they never had a problem before!
