Mike - great to hear from you.

The lake closes to all forms of boating on Oct 15 this year. Used to be you could kickboat or float tube during the closed months. It was one of the most enjoyable lakes during that time of year. Lots of peace, quiet, solitude and big bass. No more thanks to our friend the quagmire mussel.

When the ramp is open you can kickboat. The lake opens at 8am typically and you have to get inspected. Unfortunately Bryan, you're screwed because you live in a banned county, so you can never take your boat or kickboat there and fish.
