Not much to report this trip,ducked out early after turkey dinner thursday and headed out.They did not receive a trout plant this week which should have stopped us from going in the first place,but Woodchucker and I were already packed and ready.

Thursday night trolled around awhile after setting up camp,no moon and dead calm water.Heard a few good violent boils but hard to tell where they came from,too dark!

Friday,woke up charged and ready for wranglin'.Trolled and casted periodically from mile marker 52(Marina) to about marker 47,which is near the Monkey Hole.The farthest we have traveled down river and not much fun paddling back up river against the current.Saw a Big Horn sheep along the steep shorline which made the long paddle worthwhile.I need to get a digital camera bad,i could have had some bitchen pics to show.

That night while getting ready for a night session the wind and rain came up out of nowwhere.Trapped in the tent until the morning.Rained hard all night.Fished Sat morning with light rain,probably the best conditions so far,and still no fish.Packed up and left by noon.

Long way to go to get skunked,but i'm sure i'll go back!
