#10056, "I used to Surf Fish the South Bay in the 60's"

I was just wondering how the fishing is these days. I grew up on the strand in Hermosa Beach around 24th street. I used to surf fish all the time, there was always plenty of softshells around, thats all we used. The water was very clear most the time. I used to catch cobina and my favorite was shovel nosed sand sharks, great eating. I remember in the summers fishing with a feather jig off my surfboard for bonita. Saw lots of sun fish and many sharks, how is it these days????
