#14895, "Does anyone out there give lessons in saltwater fishing..."

I live in Costa Mesa - so it would have to be somewhere close to there as I'm utterly terrified of driving on freeways. And I get horrifically sea sick so shore/pier fishing would be preferred.

I've been freshwater fishing since I was really small, but I want to get into saltwater now, however I'm not sure about rigging and all that. My oldest brother is good at it but he's too busy with work to teach me and dad is like me, he's great at freshwater, not so much at saltwater.

I tried to look up places near me like Davy's Locker and such but they don't list lessons. Just boats - even without the sea sickness issues that's way too expensive for me. No one lists any sort of lessons.

I just got a lifetime fishing license including the extended one that allows for saltwater, two pole, and I guess salmon fishing. So I want to get my money's worth by being able to go out and catch some fish when I'm not working. Learning how to properly rig, baiting, etc would be a big help. But I've always learned better by seeing and doing than just reading or watching a video. It would be a big help to have someone take an hour or so to teach me.
