Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip

Good afternoon folks. We are heading for home after a fun and productive day of fishing today up the coast with 17 anglers on board.

A stiff southeast breeze this morning made for a choppy ride up and our first hour or so of fishing over was tough to say the least. Once the wind backed off and the current subsided out fishing was steady on every spot we hit filling our limits out quickly.

Our 17 anglers ended the day with 146 Reds and 24 misc. rockfish.

The Coral Sea has a few spots remaining so far for tomorrows 3/4 Day trip and the Stardust needs a few more to head out 1/2 Day fishing. Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 to make a reservation or visit our website to book online.

Stardust 1/2 day fishing

We fished fairly shallow today in our coastal zone and found steady fishing all day. We had a little swell and wind in the morning but we caught fish right away. We caught lots of assorted rockfish along with some bigger reds and some other species mixed in as well.

Our passengers stuck at the rail and fished hard all day long which was great and we ended up with our limits just before it was time to head home. In the end for our 14 anglers we caught a total of 140 rockfish, 5 ocean whitefish, 3 sheephead and one lingcod.

The Stardust still has a ton of room for tomorrow's 1/2 day trip, we need a few more to go. We will be 3/4 day fishing Thursday, Friday and Sunday; all trips have light loads as of now. Feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
