I use 7-12inch baits, AC,slammer,generic trout,osprey,huddleston,etc,
wondering to choose these rods.
I've heard the Loomis is perfect, but I don't know well about Loomis, guides, blank, reel seat, etc.

If you choose, which rod the best you think.

Anything Gloomis makes is the bomb diggity,but for the price of the loomis i bet you could buy both okuma rods.I really like my Okuma xh model.good price and a great rod.

If you fish a lot and you have the money I would go with a Loomis. BBR964,965,966 can't beat any of them. I think the 965 is a good all around swimbait rod.

I have no expierence with Okuma rods but everyone one here seems to like them. I have used a couple of the Crucial swimbait rods and they aren't that bad either. So good luck choosing and hope you stick some on whatever you end up with :-)

I would get the loomis if it breaks 50 bucks and you get a new one. I dont know what kind of warranty okuma has mabey you should look into that.

The Okuma's have a lifetime gaurantee. If you break it they will replace it. I know because I have broke 1 of them. One my friends kid stepped on it in my boat.I was mad but they replaced for free. I even told them what happened. I highly recomend the Okuma rods.
Those rods are stiff enough to throw the big baits without any problems plus they are very light. and they come with Fuji Alconite Concept Guides.

The Loomis 964C has 11 guides, seems like a pretty good rod, bought one over the winter and have used it a few times with a few different swimbaits. 7" and 8" mission fish, 6" Storms so far so good, has a nice tip, is pretty lightweight, casts well, not a bad price either.

If you're stuck on the Loomis, then you should get the 965. The 964 is a good rod, but a little light if you're throwing alot of heavy rubber baits like ospreys and huddlestons. I threw the rof5s on my 964 until I got another Okuma rod. It worked, but it's not totally ideal. It is a great rod for throwing wood baits in the 7-9" sizes.

That BB965 only comes in a GL3 I think. That'll set you back $275.00. For my money, i'd get the 964 and an Okuma XH. You could throw almost any swimbait made with those two rods and still come in under the GL3 price tag. Of course you'll have to buy two reels now though :)

It seems like that loomis 964 is for lightweight swimbaits, okuma is good about more heavier...

As phil recommended, I'd like to try both BBR964, GSC76XH.
