#2060, "Shimano Canis Rod"

Hi,
Found a Shimano Canis rod in my garage. Looking for some
good informations on this rod. Have never seen another
one before. Model is Canis CS-60G-S
Length is 6' lure wt. 3/4-1 1/4 line wt. 14-20 and was
made in Japan. Looks like the early models when the
speed master rods were out. Any info about its purposes
and value would be much appreciated. Seems like a Kelp
rod to me or a really short flipping stick. Thanks for
the help.

The rod is made out of Boron and is VERY delicate and can break very easy. My advice is to put it on your rack and hang onto it for a collecters peice. Or if you want to trade send me a PM:-)

Is it one of the pool cue type rods where the blank tapers to the handle? If so these rods sell great on ebay! You should definatley see what magmaster will trade you for it, better than breaking it fishing if it's a collectors item.

Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day

Yes, its the pool cue type looking rod. I've heard they are worth a lot.I have no use for it though so I'm trying to see what I can get for it at a fair market value. Magmaster, email me with what you would trade it for! You got my interest. ateambboys27@yahoo.com Thanks for the replies.
