I was wondering what most guy's are rigging up for there front fishfinders? How does the transducer stay in the water without getting knocked off? I have seen some of the new ones go in the trolling motor housing is that how it always works or what?
Thanks in advance...

I have been in plenty of boats rigged with transducers on this type of a bracket. You do not have to worry about knocking it off as if you get close that close to anything your t-motor prop/skeg will most likely protect it.

yeah dont worry about it, it should be fine. Thats how mine is attached to the t-motor and I have run into a bunch of crap with it on the delta, and the transducer was fine.

I have mine ghetto rigged with a few high strength zip ties, never had a problem with it. I've "bumped" a few rocks and it never changed posistion or fell off. But the bracket looks like it will work well also
