i got a few of there jerkbaits cause I wanted to learn to rip before purchasing lucky crafts, personnally their jerk baits dont even compare, i dont know about the rest of their stuff, they have great colors for jerks and cranks, but you might find others with better fish catching characteristics, at least in my opinion.

These are my PERSONAL feelings...

Their crankbaits and topwater baits are weak. They're cheap because they're very low quality. Every year they come up with some horses**t sales pitch for their new baits... sound waves, eyes, blood series, etc. Those are gimmicks to catch fisherman and make money.

Their plastics are OK for the basic baits, like the Shadee Shad, curly tail worms, grubs, tubes, and lizards. Those baits are commodities. If you can find the desired size and color, there isn't much difference between brands. As the plastics become more specialized, I do not prefer BPS baits. Example: Senkos - nothing but Yamamoto for me. Zoom - I am VERY partial towards brush hogs. Reaction Innovations - Sweet Beavers are awesome. BPS knock-off baits are not worth the money.

Personally I have 100's of LC's and other Jananese cranks. I really like the XPS! Best lures for the money! Fat cranks and the twin spin and sammy topwaters as well I have cought lots of fish w/ them and definatley reccomend them! The plastics however suck and are really hard.

PS the only thing that you really notice in a difference between construction of lucky craft and xps bait is the rattles LC uses very loud brass and the xps are kinda weak rattles I find both of these lures to loose the paint pretty fast if your catching fish on them.

Conclusion:

Lucky Crafts are better :) If you can afford them x( If you plan on loosing many xps are the way to go ;-)

Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day
