#2583, "Spinning Reels / Rods"

I am looking for a good spinning reel / rod combo. This is the first tackle that I will have of good quality, as I have had cheap junk.
I don't want to spend more than 200. Can you recommend a good spinning combo. I was looking at Cabela's xml rod and cabelas prodigy spinning reel combo:

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pod/horizontal-pod.jhtml?id=0019408&navAction=push&navCount=23&indexId=cat20287&parentId=cat20287&parentType=index&rid=&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fcatalog%2Fpod-link.jhtml_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20166

Is this pretty good or should I pick something else? There is just so much stuff to choose from.
thanks for your recommendations :-)

I would look into getting a Shimano Stradic & pair it up with a Shimano Clarus rod. Shimano makes a great product and they have great customer service. The reel is about $120 and the rod goes for about $60 which falls right in your price range.

Look into the Okuma spinning reels. For your price range, you could get the Okuma Inspira and a nice rod to go along with it. I don't know the Okuma rod specs, maybe John can give you a recommendation to match the Inspira with.
