#3101, "Belly Weights"

Hey guys I bought these weights at lake fork in 1999. I am running low and though I would buy more but I cannot find them. Where can I buy them?

Henry

Check out bass pro-shop or cabelas they have hooks with the weight on the shaft of the hook but they are not moveable like the one shown but should get the job done. I use them with bass assasins all the time and do good with them.:-)

Thanks for the info. The reason I like the removable is, I can add of remove weight without retying and threading a bait on a hook without the weight is easier on the bait.

you can buy those sinker weights made for fishing live bait. they have the little rubber things in em. let me see if i can find a picture.
ah, rubber core sinkers.

http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpage-WGRCS.html

they sell em at most tackle places and come in different weights. what you want to do in your situation is take out the rubber piece in the middle then if the weight will fit over your desired hook then put it in and clamp it shut with some pliers. If it won't fit you gotta open the weight up a little with some pliers.

or just buy premade hooks with the added weight already on em.
for customizability though you can't beat the rubber core sinkers.

I believe that the product that you are looking for
is, ironically , the Lunker City belly weight.
Lunker City , based in Connecticut, is best known
for the Sluggo.
