Looking into buying a new Calcutta 400 and Crucial Swimbait rod, but I don't know what to get, either the H or XH. I plan on using the huddleston, spro bbz-1, and other comparable baits. What are you're guys' and gals' opinions? I was thinking the softer H would allow the fish to eat the hard baits a little more, but the backbone on the XH would be better for the hudds.

Actually I did, but I didn't notice the suggestions in the cons section. I would prefer not to buy a wood bait rod and a rubber bait rod, so will the XH work for woods as well?

I use the Xh for the Hudd 12, Spro BBZ and the 3:16 Wake Bait and Armaggedon baits. I feel its a little soft for the Hudd 5.

The new Loomis swimbait rods are pretty sick. The 957 is a very good Hudd rod in my opinion.
