#3443, "Another Castaic problem"

The other day I was using a 9" Castaic "Quick Snap" trout when the soft portion of the bait came completely off the hard portion. I looked at the hard (front) part of the bait and the two knobs that keep the soft part on broke off. So even if I bought another soft portion the bait is unusable. It was only my second time to use the lure. I wrote Castaic off of their website and have yet to receive a response. Am I completely out of luck? Someone on another website said to throw it away and buy a Hudd..... Might just do that.

Frenchman,

Shoot me an email with your address, and I'll send you a new bait. Just let me know what color/size, etc.

Jason @ Castaic is usualy prety good about replacing baits. I think he will be at the bass a thon. If your going you could bring the bait and talk to him there about it. However as a bait maker myself I Know I would apreciate it if you did this when I didnt have a bunch of customers in front of me and I assume Jason would also preferr this.
