I've always wondered about this and thought I'd get some opinions here. When calculating the weight of a lure (more specifically spinnerbaits or buzzbaits) is the weight calculated by the jig head alone? Or is the weight calculated by the weight of the entire lure (jig head, hook, wire, blade(s), skirt, etc.)?



You can't catch tomorrow what you kill today - please practice catch and release.

Jig Head alone most time no even including the hook but just the lead.
