Just wondering if anyone has tried this bait. It comes in 4", 6" & the 10" size. It's double jointed like the triple trout & the castaic platinum. So i'm thinking it has a similar action. Thanks...

Hey Brian,

A friend of mine told me about these, said he has been getting the spots to hit em. I have been throwing the river2sea shad imitators for spots alittle, with no success yet (its hard to put the jig down).Anyone have any other suggestions of 4"- 5" swimbaits that mimic a shad?

Bassin the storm (wildeyes) swim better than the river2sea I suggest them over the river2sea for other baits try matt lures bass or bg and the castaic hardhead baits.

If you want a shad imitation there are a lot of guys here who will point you to the saltwater baits but I personally like the smaller sizes of optimums. They're great baits! And to stay on topic... I've never seen the above mentioned bait so I don't know what to think but it reminds me a lot of some of the soft musky plugs.
