Anybody tried one of these yet? The paint jobs don't look so hot, but the bait looks similar to the new X-3 Slammer. Just curious on this one. JT

I saw em 2,but your right the paint jobs suck big time.maybe they have saltwater applications but i feel the bass out here on the westside, are a little smarter than that.maybe they can be repainted that would improve their effectiveness.

I am sure it would catch fish at night but I dont think it would be very durable as in one bad cast it will shatter!

Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day

The Strike King - King Kong swimbait is the same lure as the ABT Titan. They either OEM'd it to Strike King or sold them the design. I need to get a Titan for review pretty soon. I have no idea about durability on the baits. Will advise when I get one for the review.

Recently, Strike King Pro Staff and upper management had a chance to fish the Titan with Allen Borden, owner and founder of ABT Lures, and were so impressed they decided to join forces with ABT to launch a national marketing program which will make the ABT Titan the King Kong of hard swimbaits.

this is what is posted @ tackle warehouse

hELLO GUYS,although this is not my job any longer i will try
to answer some of your questions the best that i can on behalf
of strike king...first of all i am the designer of the king
kong/titan.strike kings elete pro staff such as denny brauer
gary cline , keven vandam has fully evaluated and fished this
bait for over a year on multi species their conclusion was the
king kong would catch bigger fish than anything in their
catalog...as far as their paint schemes especialy the trout, i
have seen better, and i have seen worse.. before anyone
questions or comes to the conclusion that this is not a
durable bait you need to try one first. i have seen video of
giant tarpon and peacock bass caught on the king kong.dont
think your going to have to sweat a largemouth of any size.
speaking of large-mouth you may want to watch the king kong
show on the outdoor channel monday march 13th 2;00pm the 16th
and the 18th which features denny brauer catching giants...
awesome show..i dont think the king kong looks anything like
the slammer but i do think the slammer looks similar to the
king kong, if this makes any since... good fishing guys..
