#1522, "Rago 8" Baby Tool: VIDEO"

Just busted the new Rago 8" Baby Tool Sinking swimbait in the Steelhead pattern out of the package from TW and I tossed it into the pool for some live-action video!

Anyway, i'm pretty impressed. First of all, it falls slowly belly first at about the same rate as a Huddleston ROF-5. The fall is very controlled, and this bait should be easy for anyone to count down after watching it fall a few times. I let it sink to the bottom of my swimming pool nearly a dozen times, and everytime it landed neatly perched atop both trebles- a great advantage for smooth bottom lakes where you want to rip the bait up from the bottom. The action is clean and you can judge for yourself from the video. Pretty much the same action as the triple trout, but the real bass-comitment feature would definitely have to be the realistic appearance of the bait.

You can download the .AVI file from the following links for now, I will post a link to a "universally user friendly" streaming video through my myspace account tommorow (they view and approve uploads before you can stream them) These links only allow a certain amount of downloads, so if the maximum is reached you'll have to wait for the streaming video that I will post later.

Click the "preview" option to watch without downloading....

Thanks for the video! It has crazy action. They don't have it on the TW site yet. Did you call or email them about the 8" tool? What did it cost?

Thanks in advance!

Glad you guys liked the video, I know alot of you guys out there have been as anxious as me to see whats up with this bait as we are for all new swimbaits when they come out.

Hit the C.C. on the way home from work today to try a field test on my Rago Baby Tool in the clearest pond I know of. After throwing it in the pool yesterday, I really wanted to get it into some deeper water so I could get comfortable with it before using it in a real life situation.....even if thats not until the fall! I knew it was a possibility, but with the high heat and wave of high pressure- I was doubting anything would hit the monster swimbait. 1st cast, I count the bait down and retrieve it back and notice it has a shadow. I deadstick the bait in 2' about 10 yards from me, the bass angled down on the bait, I twitched it hard and the bait turned around 180 and the bass hammered it....

Nice little 4+ chunk, definitely not a monster that I hope this swimbait will bring me- but always a welcome catch. Funny though, you know these Palm Springs bass have never seen a trout- but this fish wasn't letting the Baby Tool out of the water without taking a shot!
