22nd Century Swimbaits is releasing some new versions of the Triple Trout. I don't have all the details but basically there is at least one new 10" floating model and one new color (pictured below). The floating version has a 4th section in the tail and throws a wake on the surface (bottom pic). Haven't tried it out yet but here's some pics

I just got my first two triple trouts in the mail. I got the 8" heavy in the dark and light trout, I can't wait to try them out. That new paint job looks pretty good. I'm waiting for the 10" to come in now.

Hey Rob,
Do you know where I can pick these up? Does Tackle warehouse sell them?

I am trying to get more info. Best bet would be Performance Tackle at (562) 430-7671 or Anglers Marine at (714) 666-2628

Ok, I got up to speed on what the deal is with the baits...

The floating triple trout has been at Performance Tackle in limited quantity for some time now. Its available in 8" and 10".

The color shown above is "scale dark trout". It doesn't have an official name per se but that's a good way to refer to it if asking for it. That one is limited quantity and/or special order only. Talk to Performance Tackle to see if its available. Same goes for the 4 piece surface bait.

Shane,
Sorry for taking so long to reply. I believe 8" is the smallest available. You know how it goes with a lot of the baits that are out there, the guys making them are always tinkering and making variations to test out and whatnot. So its totally possible that smaller floating ones exist but 8" is the smallest floating model you can buy.
