#1616, "Crooked Platinum"

I have a 6" platinum that does not run straight up and down and was wondering if there is any way to fix it. It tracks straight but it lays half way over on its side.
Thanks

Are you keeping your rod tip close/touching the surface of the water? I've found that reeling with the tip anywhere but down close to the water causes the bait to not run how it's suppose to. Give that a shot, if not it could be something else.
