Not sure if you guys have checked these out. They look pretty sick.

There going to retail for $35. The hardware includes Owner hooks and split rings. He is going to offer an unconditional money back guarantee on these lures. There will be 3 colors: "dark rainbow", "light rainbow" and "stocker purple". There will be several sink rates. They are 8" long.

Will be releasing the new bait at the Fred Hall show in Long Beach, March 7-11. They will be available for pre-orders in two weeks.

He will be doing seminars at the show with the new bait. It has a loud rattle in the tail and some cool "keepers" that the hook pops out of and allows you to switch where the hook is rigged.

What act of God will it take before someone makes a hudd-style swimbait over 8 inches? First the hudd, then reaction strike, now ac and rago. Anyone catch any 8 inch trout lately?

Anyway... I kind of like this latest version. Something a little different can never hurt.

Looks like a nice bait. It will be interesting to see what happens regarding the tail though since Stanley has a patent pending on the wedgetail design.

As for why there aren't bigger Hudd style baits? There are probably a few factors. The first being the bigger size equals an increase in the weight of the bait and most people would have trouble tossing a 7+ ounce bait all day.

The second is 8 inches is around the perfect size because the big fish eat it as Butch Brown and others have shown, but also because it doesn't intimidate the angler throwing it.

Lastly a bigger bait is probably going to have a bigger price tag. The Huddleston's are $35-40. That's getting pricy for a soft bait. A 10 inch bait is likely to be pushing $50+ which would price it for the most die hard swimbaiters not the best business decision I would think

With all that being said make a 10 inch hudd style bait and I would probably buy one even though I haven't caught anything on my Huddy's......YET!

I noticed the tail being different and thought the Stanley patent probably got him to change it. Now it looks like they copied the tail from a Matt lures east coast swim bait series. I am going to wait for the reports on this bait, until then i will be throwing my new Rago RT.

Gentlemen,

I saw the A.C. Casitas at the Fred Hall show yesterday and all I can say is this bait is amazing. The bait does not only swim nice, but it even looks better in person. The quality of the Casitas from my observation is outstanding. I like the fact that the bait has built in hook clips for the hooks so you don't have to bury the bard into the plastic itself. I have no doubt that these baits will catch fish so I ended up preordering for 2 8" baits in med fall and a 6"bait in med fall. I should have it in a couple of weeks. I will make sure to post more after I have fished with it.

I watched them demo it in the big tank and I didn't really dig the action on the tail at all, it almost twists in a weird unnatural looking way. I also talked to Allen Cole himself and he had very little knowledge on the bait from the way he was answering my questions and his sort of obnoxious sales person spent more time hating on other baits than telling me why I should fish their bait. Don't mean to flame them, just giving my honest opinion. In the end, i'm sure it will catch fish when they are on the chew but i have a tendacy to believe this rings true for most of the swimbaits on the market. Just one more bait thats a little different to add to the arsenal.

Im with eddie on this one. I watched the bait in the tank and wasnt impressed either.. It didnt swim at all at slow grind and it barly swam on a fast crank.. At his booth he was telling some story of gettin four bites in the tank and the "BIG" one came up and grabbed it before the rest of em had a chance :7 No doubt the guy has some big fish under his belt but he sure didnt seem to have anything to say about the bait that made me feel like I should be talking a good look at it. Just that its the "MOST REALISTIC" soft bait out there, and after seein it swim I just laughed...
