All of the Shimano lures I have seen come from Japan. I have a couple and that's where I got them from.

Look at e-bay user id sayaka603. He sells a lot of Shimano lures. They're nothing special for the price. Once you pay shipping you could have just bought a LuckyCraft. There are some old Shimano lures too. I think they were bagley/shimano? I can't remember :(

The newer shimanos are comprable w/ lucky craft I have some that I have cought many fish on, the details are not quite as nice as lucky craft but they are a premium lure. They also have Shmiano extreme lures made for shimano by Bagley's in the early 90's these are worth a lot of money and are collectors items.

Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day

The "Shimano"/Bagley bait was a deal that they did a long time ago as a promotion. It's nothing more then a regular bait with the Shimano logo painted on the side. Nothing fancy, but the real baits that are from Japan are nice but they are expensive and Lucky Craft is an even match for them. The Triple Impact is a good one though and Lucky Craft doesn't make a bait like that. I really like their rattle traps too

Shimano has all kinds of lures. Go to the Kinokuniya bookstore in Japantown (San Francisco) for the Japanese bass mags like Basser, Lure or Rod & Reel. Those mags are expensive but the ads are a great source for info on the tackle currently being used across the Pacific.

I have one in a ugly bright orange and yellow color and I caught quite a few fish on it. But mostly at small golf course ponds and private reservoirs. I use my othere "confidence" baits at other lakes because that one is so damn ugly!
