I was at the Long Beach show this last weekend and saw the new River2Sea product line of lures, have any of you tried the River2Sea Swimbait yet? It didn't look that bad, and if it holds up better then the Ospry (even though this is a great swimbait) what do ya think?

I didn't ask when I spoke with the rep at the Fred Hall show, but they must be really new....I was in TW and asked Susan if she had seen them and she hadn't yet. As for where to see them, if not at the website, hopfully "Trophyhunter" can help....I fish Osprey's alot so I was comparing them to those, as far as how they hold up after getting bit a couple of times....My Osprey's just get destroyed after a couple of fish....My personal best came using an Osprey at Margarita, it was only the second or third cast with that 30 dollar bait and it was totalled....bummer about the bait...but then I wasn't thinking much about the torn up silicon as I was trying to get a picture of the bass in my lap :)

Hi's Tackle Box in San Francisco carries them (415.221.3825). The swimbaits are part of River2Sea's Wood'n series of lures and they aren't on the website yet.

Those are sweet lookin, but the ones I was speaking of, that I saw at Fred Hall were all plastic. I can only put them in the same class as the Osprey.

What you guys talking about is River2Sea's Live Eye Bottom Walker. it is very hot now in Nor Cal, especailly in Clear Lake since some guys won tournament with this bait. As a matter of fact, the shop manager of Tackle It at Clear Lake brought it in his shop after he won a tournament with it. That Bait is hand sprayed color. With a very reasonable price.
