So you have one?

There are spinning and casting models and they're going to be announced at the ICAST show later this month. Most are of them are in the $340-360 range. Where did you see the St. Croix reference?

Played around with a sample/prototype made for the US market and it's pretty nice. It was one of the 7' hvy models and is marked as a fast action but the taper actually feels between fast and extra fast. Nice tip with a lot of backbone. It's got nine SIC Concept guides + tip and a non-exposed blank (TCS?) Fuji reel seat with metallic paint. The blank is matte black and other than the metallic accent on the reel seat assembly, it's a pretty understated rod.

You can get more info on the Japanese ones here: http://www.luckycraft.co.jp/products/0309rods/index.html

Made by St. Croix and kind of heavy for the $400 price tag. I mean heavey as in weight of the rod

saw the rods at ICast, they are a gloss black finish, they have spinning and casting models, i looked at all the models and i think they are all extra fast, or at least rated extra fast... they are st.croix blanks but lucky craft isn't aloud to say that or not since they don't have the permission of st.croix. rumored to be around $400, but there is not price on them yet since the rods were in the hands of co-owners of lucky craft the day before ICast, so they were brand new.
