Hey guys, I'm a new poster to the board but have been reading for a while. Rob, I beleive you saw my post on SDFish on the soft raptor and remember saying that I would post when I saw the hard bait. Well...I saw it, and am very impressed. This thing is the most realistic swimming and looking hardbait yet. Dave Conway and I went to Jennings and played with the baits a little. These things swim like a LIVE FREAKING TROUT!!!! I dont see it getting much more realistic swimming than this. While playing with different speeds with the small bait winding it back to make another cast, I had a 9 pounder come charging at the bait and spook right at the boat. Dave showed me 3 different sizes of the hardbait which were about 10, 8 and 6 inches. The 8 incher being main bait. I've always liked Jerry's trout colors in the past, but the few I saw on the Raptors were much more lifelike and detailed. I am counting the days down to Bass-a-thon very impatiently to get my hands on these things. After seeing this bait, I am looking foward to holding some fat rubbery lips this season.
