Does anybody know if 12lb test on a Daiwa sealine sl20sh
would work the same as if I were using 15lb test,or is 12lb
just too light for that reel.Thanks for any information.

I use 12# on mine all the time. It's a lot of line, but it's not too light for that reel. I fish anything from 12-20# on it, just depends on what I'm using it for.
