#2081, "Picture of a trout flexing it fins? Any fish?"

Does anyone remember a picture SARL put out not too long ago with a trout flexing it's fins? I'm looking for the picture for a possible tattoo. THe trout also had a hook broken off in it's mouth I believe.

Hey Chris!

Those are some sweet tats! Here is what I may do so far, but I may change the fish in the middle. I really wanted the fish flexing its fins or I might use the Loomis fish.

Hi Jason...what do you mean flexing its fins? Do you mean the fins spreading out to its maxed position? By the way...whos trout drawing is it? I do lots of fish drawings...I might be able to correct the fins on the drawing for you...but dont wanna offend any artist by altering their originals...
Hey Chris...I got my PB from nightcrawler...tried catching it for 4 days...with every lure I had....but on the last day decided to drop in the ole crawler...lol...That Dr. Seuss tattoo is awesome!!!
heres a simple sketch of a bass...

The picture i'm looking for actually has the fish sorta standing up on its caudal fin, and it's sorta flexing it's pectoral fins like muscles.. *lol* It just looked like a real mean trout.

Cool Chris...I have a repro of Dave's 21lb bass and about to get it ready and painted...Its a HUGE fish...Do you hook your worms in the middle or one the end...
I had an incident where I was fishing at Castaic and had this 6lb bass looking at my crawler for 10minutes...and when it finally decided to attack the worm...it bit the worm and ripped just half of the worm off and swam away...all the while I as watching as the water was crystal clear...I had the hook somewhat in the middle of the worm and that smart fellow manage to bite the worm off right before the hook...I didnt set the hook or move my line any at all...oh well....once a while we come a across an Eintstein Bass...lol...

Hey Jason...I did a simple sketch of the trout flexing its muscles...wasnt sure if the one you saw was actually flexing its "fins" or was it human arms? This one is a rainbow trout...just bcoz I am too used to drawing a rainbow trout when it comes to the trout species...spent too much time trying to design rainbow trout swimbaits...Was the image you saw affilliated with any brand?

Hey Ken

Thanks! The picture was it's actual fins flexing. All I usually fish for are the rainbows. The image was an used by the Santa Ana River Lakes and Corona Lakes as part of a promotion for thier " Super Fish".

Thanks again
