#5170, "The Delta needs fishermen's help, Wed, August 12, Sacra..."

Corporate agriculture is pushing an agenda to destroy the Delta by diverting more water to the Central Valley. A peripheral canal, 100 feet wide, pumping fresh water from Shasta Dam to the Tracy pumping station, bypassing the Delta, is their end goal. Along the way, multiple tactics will be used to silence any vocal opposition (fisherman, Delta farmers, marina owners, and anybody that recreates on the Delta). In their playbook is a classification of black bass and stripers as predatory invasive species... which would result in poisoning or eradication of our favorite fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A representative from the Federal Government will be in Sacramento on Wednesday, August 12th, from 1:00 - 5:00. If you took ONE DAY to be politically active and fight for black bass, stripers, salmon, sturgeon, and steelhead; WEDNESDAY, August 12th is the day!!!!

Bobby Barrack will be there and fisherman are needed in obvious fishing clothes.
