On
Wednesday Montree got a 10 lb striper on AC plug right in a boil about 200 ft. right of the life guard pier. and on Friday he got a 20 lb. about 1000ft. left of the west ramp the trout were still there on sunday
I caught 5 trout every day since the plant. all in less then one hour.Today is Mon. and I will check if the trout are still around.
At the lower lake the fish were about 1 to 1.5 lb.and they were biting, but usualy in the early morning had to walk around till you spot a school lure of choise Super duper, Thomas brass color on both remember to sharpen your hook they slap the lure with their head and about 10 percent are caught around the head if your hook is sharp. If you get lots of bump but no fish sharpen the hook. If they dont bump use power bait.
I use original P Line 6 lb. test it is blue in color, the same size as 4 lb. line, it is as strong as a 8 lb.line I had it tested at the fishing show it cut at little over 10 lb. they are hard to find but J.T. Tackel in Simi valley gets it for me, I also use the same pole and line when I fish for Corbina.
