#47, ""GIANT SQUID""

Fished giant squid today on a three quarter day.I had over 50 squid on the squid jigs and surface iron. They weren't the real big ones but it was a nice change. They were about 3-8 pounds. We fished them like breezing yellowtail. The squid are on the surface and we just slid in chumed them up with chovie. So wide open it got boring, they werent even pulling line on 20 pound.I caught 12 - 25 pounders on a 2 day when I worked in san diego-and those big one faught hard.Overall it was a great trip.Came home with a ton of calamari, and giant heads to use for cowcod this winter.I bet there is a bunch of swordfish feeding deep on the squid. It's everywhere!

All you need is a rod with 20-40 pound test and a few squid jigs. It doesnt get any easier. Is your name really brandon or are you fucking with me?
