My buddy Nate Wellman, from Michigan, told me something else I found interesting...

Apparently Manistee and the White River have battled back and forth for the record brown trout a couple times now. Manistee had it years ago, then the White River took it, and now it appears that Manistee has reclaimed the record. Anyway, I thought that was kinda cool.

Incredible fish and catch.
