Had a great time
Big thanks goes to Paul and John for getting me down there.

Congradulations to Todd aka (fish24) on the win.
You and your fellow Kern Tubers are a great bunch of Fisherman.
Along with being wild and crazy campers :)

Saturday early AM wasn't as cold as I antisapated it being.
Fished around the marina without a bite.
Decided to make the long run out past the flats
around the long point to the cliffs.

Caught my first keeper spot draging a Purple Berkeley Power Claw.
Also caught a few others using a dropshot jig rig with the top worm being wackey.
Finished my limit with tossing a 4" darter head orange craw stright tail worm.

My limit was good enough to place in the money.

Thanks again Kern Tubers
in hope we ALL can get together and fish again soon.

PS here a pic of Sunday AM just to the right
is the point and the start of the cliffs.
Sunday was cold!
Notice how low the water level is?

Thanks for the props Joe. I really enjoyed talking fishing with you the short time we had to to talk. And congrats on your second place. At that lake it can be anyones game as long as you have a limit. I was lucky enough to get into the fish that I did. I've found at Naci, that if you find a spot of those better fish, you'll do good. And they're almost always in one spot or very close. Once you find the fish you usually don't have to do much more kicking. Anyways, hope to fish with you and the others again at The Open.

Hey Brian. Glad to hear you had a good time. Maybe next time you can spend more time hanging out. We DO have a good time. We'll have one at San Antonio and two at Naci next season. Plus all the others over here closer to home. We look forward to fishing with you again.
