#2290, "Stardust at Rosa"

Good afternoon anglers we are making our way toward the dock after fishing Santa Rosa Island today. Our day started very slow today as we had anywhere from 13-20 knots of northeasterly wind which made for very tough fishing to say the least for the majority of our day today. I can't thank our group enough for sticking at the rail and sticking with it.
At 1:30 today we only had 87 Rockfish on the boat and thankfully our conditions straightened out and we were able to end our day with steady fishing on both nice Reds and other nice Rockfish as well. We were able to cycle through the biting fish fast and at the end everyone on board has plenty of tasty Rockfish to take home.
Our 39 persistent anglers stuck it out till late and ended up sacking 152 Reds , 60 Coppers, 59 assorted Rockfish and 13 Lingcod. A big thanks to our group for grinding it out with me and the crew.
The Coral Sea is a go tomorrow on there 3/4 Day with a light and the Stardust is a go Tuesday & Wednesday. Call the Sea Landing at 805 963 3564 to book a spot on either boat and come out fishing.
