Last weekend I spent a nice morning out on the Stardust on Sunday. JD was driving the boat and we headed down to the 4 mile to fish some shallow water rockfish. The bite was pretty steady all day and everyone caught at least a couple rockfish along with some nice whitefish. Small squid strips were the trick on the whitefish and a few short ling cod were also brought in on live sardines. Beautiful weather and cooperative fish, that's tough to beat.<P>I talked to Jason tonight and he reports that the fishing has only gotten better this week with some nice sandbass in the count today and some big sculpin too. Monday saw limits on the whitefish and rockfish to boot for 10 anglers. Gotta love those light load weekday trips on the Stardust!
