I have never used one. But from the specs that I've read and the 2 people I've talked to that own them, don't buy one. Both guys I know are sorry they wasted the money.

They seem to be overpriced and underrated on power. To me they're just flipping sticks?

Save a little money and get a rod MADE for swimbaits!

Yeah, what Jake said.

There's a reason those rods are on clearance. Bass Pro tried to jump on the swimbait bandwagon and obviously couldn't move those rods. The 7'-6" rod would probably work for lighter baits, but come on. And the 6'-10" rod in there line up.... give me a break! There's no reason to get a rod like that when there's rods like the Okumas out there.

You got it right with the Cardiff though. They're pretty solid reels. Shimano has also added another round baitcaster to their lineup. Actually it's replacing the Corsair and Catala. I was checking it out the other day and it looks good.

Here's a link. Man i've been pluggin' this place alot lately
