Thanks for the reply;  I fish "Pudd" often because
it's close to home. Haven't been able to catch a cold lately. 
You sound like you're pretty experienced;  Is is true that the
high water "killed" the spawn?  From shore, where do
you recommend parking/walking to where you've had success;
