Just curious, do you guys ever pay the fee to launch your float tube at castaic lagoon. Whenever I pay for parking they never ask if i'm going float tubing even though it's in the backseat. Do any of you guys ever pay the launch fee for a float tube at castaic lagoon.

I tube it and also kayak the lagoon. And yes I always pay because the fees will hopefully help Castaic stay open.

I've only been there 2 times in the last year and paid both times to tube.

I always pay...unless I'm there in the middle of the night...ssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

It can be pretty cool out there under the stars, it's just a little dangerous...Especially when you get these masterminds out there casting out sinkers the size of car batteries. If you ever have the time and are in the mood to be a little daring,...Tubing the lower lake at night can really pay off...especially, when you're all the way at the North end around the weed bed area...one thing to remember though...use the moonlight...a flashlight will give away the fact that you're out there...I also know from experience that "the man" doesn't like it too much when you're over that close to the dam....thinks you're gonna plant a bomb or something....
Tight lines 'n bent rods to all!!!
