Got to CDM around 7 am. Fished around the bait barge for about an hour with lots of short hits and nothing sticking. Was going to call it a day but decided to head back to where I caught the legal hali on Tuesday. On the way there got into a mini WFO on spotties. 5 cast, 5 fish, all in the 1.5 - 2 lbs range. On my sixth cast got pick up big time. Lines started peeling. Thought I probably had the biggest spotty. Got it to color and turned out to be a keeper hali at 24 inches. Next cast resulted in a smaller spotty around 1 lb. Fished for another 30 minutes without a single hit. That's when I called it a day. Got back at the truck around 9:30. No WSB around today.
