Fished and kind of worked on the Sea Horse out of Dana Wharf on Friday night fishing Saturday. Went out to SCI and the weather was pretty gnar gnar. Winds at 50 plus and some decent ground swell. Made some squid at Cat on the way over. Anyways, good pick on the bass and some really big bonita caught. I got the one yellow for the boat on the flylined sardine. Fish was 17 or 18 pounds, good one for my first of the year. Also broke one off one the surface iron. No idea how that happened. Calstar 540 and fresh 30 pound Izor and the line just pops? Weird. Still got the one so I was stoked. Will post a pic as soon as I get one.
