14191, SWBA Round 5

Felt pretty good coming into this event but not having a chance to pre-fish spun us for a loop. Must of hit 25 good spots for our big solo bass around 3.5 and an array of by catch including Karl's personnel best halibut on an Avet, 20 lb. & a 5.5" Big Hammer:

We wasted most of the day going with what worked last year before finally deciding to make a major move down south. Managed a quick limit of small fish in around 1.5 hrs that we hoped would be enough to keep us from getting bumped from the top 10. Turns out it was a tough day for most & to our surprise the 9 something odd pound limit ended up being enough for 6th place in the tourney & 7th overall for the year. Looking forward to the top-ten finale & can hardly wait for next years series already.

Can't say enough about the Guys / Gals of the SWBA & all the time and effort they put in to keep this the top notch series it is. The Senor Tuna BBQ staff has really been the 11. Thanks All!!

Took minute to run over & snap a pic of Norm & Co. with a little by catch of their own:
